Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Knockout Club to create tournaments, join rooms, vote or share results.
Using the service
Keep your account and room codes secure. Organizers manage their rooms, voting rules and tie-breaks. Voters can participate without creating a Google account. Do not impersonate others, manipulate voting, attempt unauthorized access or disrupt the service.
Your content and sharing
Only submit text and images you have the right to use. Do not submit unlawful, abusive or sensitive personal information. You permit the service to store and display your submitted content as needed to operate your tournament, including result cards and link previews.
Share links and codes only with your intended group. The application does not guarantee that recipients will keep shared links or result images private.
Third-party information
Book, movie and series information comes from external providers and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Artwork and metadata remain subject to their owners’ rights and the providers’ terms. Availability of a nominee in a search does not grant permission to reuse its artwork elsewhere. Provider credits are available from the landing page footer.
Availability and retention
The service may change or be interrupted. Keep a copy of results you want to preserve: tournaments are scheduled for deletion 90 days after creation. Do not rely on Knockout Club as permanent storage or for decisions requiring guaranteed availability or accuracy.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
